Created in 1994, Lactiangol has become, in its 24 years of existence, the main dairy industry in Angola, being the leading company in the national market in its area of activity. For over 10 years, the Brand’s packagings had remained the same and the modern days and the competitive market were asking for a brand new approach.

The main goal was to achieve a modern line that embodied a fresh look and the tropical feeling of the country. Due to printing restrictions only 8 Pantones in total could be chosen for each label. As a result, the design choices were always made and shaped according to this constraint.

Although only 8 colours could be used, and some were already determined by the logos that had to be included, that didn’t stop the design from being fun, colourful and vibrant. The illustrative and flat style simplifies the mood created and leaves space for a fresh mixture of organic shapes, bright colours and small crafty details.
